Stamford, CT - February 1, 2010 - The “Dreama” has become a reality for five private practices across the United States. FUJIFILM Medical Systems USA, Inc. has begun shipping brand new FCR Prima digital x-ray systems to the winners of its Prima Dreama online video contest, transitioning them from analog to state-of-the-art digital x-ray imaging technology. One facility was selected from the entrants in each of the five private practice categories.

Contest entrants were asked to submit a video or a typed description and accompanying digital image re-enacting the funniest or most unusual event that has occurred in their office. More than 50 entries were received; a panel of judges including physicians and representatives from industry publications selected the winning videos and stories which can be viewed on the contest Web site, www.primadreama.com and on www.fujiprivatepractice.com.

Fujifilm’s Prima Dreama contest was run in conjunction with the launch of the FCR Prima digital x-ray system, a product introduced specifically to increase adoption of digital x-ray in the predominantly film-based private practice areas. Fujifilm has seen unprecedented demand for the product since it became available in late July.
