AXON : Overview

At the heart of the FCR AXON system is the Combo Server Workstation. It has 600 GB of on-line RAID 5 storage and comes with the following software:

FCR AXON Communications Server – is a multi-functional software application with integrated patient and image databases as well as DICOM communications services. A single DICOM connection to your FCR digital x-ray reader is included. Additional modality connections can be added.
FCR AXON Diagnostic Viewer – gives you full functionality for diagnostic reading including image manipulation and measurement tools.
FCR AXON Patient CD Burner – allows you to burn your images onto CDs. It also includes our FCR AXON DICOM Viewer so you can view images on any PC.
FCR AXON Archive – allows you to burn a DVD for long-term, off-line storage.
FCR AXON Modality Worklist Editor – improves workflow at the modality by allowing you to create a modality worklist directly in FCR AXON. Information in an existing DICOM Worklist can also be edited.
